Isiah Lord Thomas III

My hero is Isiah Thomas. Full name Isiah Lord Thomas III. He was a fantastic basketball player. Isiah Thomas was born on April 30, 1961 in Chicago, Illinois. He attended high school at St. Joseph's High School in Illinois. Isiah Thomas led St. Joseph's to the class AA State finals in 1978. He graduated from St. Joseph’s High School in 1979.

Isiah Thomas, sometimes called Zeke, attended college at Indiana University. He led Indiana to The NCAA championship in 1981 and was named MVP(Most Valuable Player) of the tournament. All in all, he led the Indiana University basketball team to a 47-17 record.

He went pro in 1981. He played for the Detroit Pistons. In my opinion, he is one of the best things that has ever happened to Detroit’s professional team. He was an unbreakable force and leader of the Pistons while he played for them.

He led the Detroit Pistons to the playoffs in the 1989-90 season and helped them win the championship game. He was also the MVP of the 1990 finals. Isiah Thomas was a great basketball player and I am proud to have him as my hero.
