My hero is John F. Kennedy, the 35th President of the United States. John F. Kennedy was born on May 29, 1917 in Brookline, Massachusetts .
The Kennedy family had aspirations for his brother Joe to enter into the political life. Unfortunately Joe was killed in World War 2 and the burden fell on John. After Joe’s death John ran for president against Richard M. Nixon and won the presidency of the United States of America.
On January 20, 1961 he was sworn in as the 35th President of the United States, with his inaugural speech “Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country”. He called all nations to fight common enemies of man: tyranny, poverty, disease, and war itself. As one of his first presidential acts he made the Peace Corps, where Americans could volunteer to go help undeveloped nations
