Jeremy McGrath

My name is Pat. I am 15 years old and live in ringoes NJ. I love to ride my quad or dirtbikes. I have been ridding since iwas only 5 years old, and have loved it the whole time. I have moved up in the size of my machines to where I am now on a 300ex. If you know who Jeremy McGrath is than you can easily see why he is my hero.

McGrath is the lead motocross racer in history. He started racing BMX when he was 14 and moved into motocross from there. He now has more titles in motcross and has captured more podeums than any other rider. He is argued by many to be the best racer in the world.

He is my hero because he is an good role model, because he unlike many other stars keeps himself out of trouble. In football many of the players are convicts. Even some of the top motocross racers have been cought up in trouble. For years Jeff Emig was the main battle with mcgrath. Then he was let go of his kawasaki team for DWI.

This makes him a person that people can look up to. He helps the sport by not getting mixed up with trouble, and gives it good publicity. He makes a sport that is very cotraversial seem ok because he is a good person and keeps oput of trouble. Sure there are risks in racing. But then again there are risks in everything.

For all these reasons Jeremy McGrath is my Hero. He is a person that i can relate with because he rides. He is one of the best riders on the planet. He has the most wins in motocross. And he stays out of trouble. WHat more could you ask for?
