John Glenn | US Astronaut, Senator

Born July 18, 1921

Astronaut John Glenn was the first American to orbit the earth in space. He also ran for Senator of Ohio and held the seat for 24 years. He became the oldest astronaut in space, when he boarded the Discovery Space Shuttle.
