Trembling Stones
The people that were pushed into the ground.
The voices that were drowned out,
The proud pack of lions, unable to show their power.
Turned down, abandoned like an old shipwreck,
Some were dismayed but most,
Most continued eating as if the world was right,
But some were dismayed.
Empathy, Humility, Resilience,
The war effort, the war against obstinate society
People were against the dream, he helped produce the dream:
The dream of Dr King.
Side-by-side with the creator of modern society,
Like a sculptor of the world:
And then the rest were dismayed.
