John Lydon aka Johnny Rotten

John Lydon was born in Finsbury Park, North London. He is married to Nora Lydon and has no kids of his own, but has one step daughter who is only 3 years younger than him. He is most well known for his work with the Sex Pistols, where he was deemed Johnny Rotten due to his green teeth. When “Rotten” first came into the spotlight the “heroes” were the upperclassmen of British society who screwed over anyone of a lower class for their own benefit. So he was actually at the time an anti-hero who was opening the eyes of people and becoming the hero for a new generation. “Rotten” opened people’s eyes to the corruption of the British Officials. While some believed him to be an Anarchist he was really a Realist. After the Pistols break up (which was very unpleasant) he started his own band called P.I.L. (Public Image Limited)and during the eightys and ninetys made huge social and charitable strides within this band and on his own time. Recently he has made amends with the Sex Pistols and is currently working on material and playing shows for both bands.
