Josh Sundquist

Josh Sundquist was born August 6, 1984, in Charlottesville, VA, and is 34 years old. Josh Sundquist had to overcome many things, but one very important thing that he overcame was that he was diagnosed with cancer when he was nine. He lost one of his legs and happened to overcome everything and become healthy and strong again. Josh Sundquist's amazing talent is skiing. He even made the U.S. Paralympic team in 2006.

Josh Sundquist's family is very religious. They are Christians and he is an only child. His father is very strict. Josh was home schooled until he was in high school. Josh’s mom is very supportive and is very strict at the same time. Josh’s parents are very present in his life and help him with difficulties.

Another interesting moment in Josh’s life was when he was around 11 or 12, he played truth or dare with his close friend named Sarah Stevens and some of his other friends from church. Josh's best friend, Tony was up to ask Sarah Stevens, “TRUTH OR DARE!” When Sarah said, TRUTH, Josh's friend asked her if she liked Josh and Sarah said NO!!!! It states, “Do you like Josh? Tony asked” (Sundquist 10). “No, she said, looking at Tony, not at me” (Sundquist 12).

Two more interesting moments in Josh’s life were when he found his first real girlfriend and when he was in love with this girl named Sasha and thought she did not like him because she was not texting him or calling him, so he did not text or call her either, but later he found out that she actually liked him, but now it is too late because she already got engaged. (P.S. Sasha was trying out to be the next “Miss America.”)

Josh Sundquist can be considered a hero because he is a really unique and kind man even through his darkest times in his life, from cancer and not having a girlfriend till he was 23. One important career highlight of Josh Sundquist's life is how he is a motivational speaker and he inspires audiences across the world. Josh Sundquist is still alive and he is 34 years old.
