A hero is someone who does what they believe in no matter what anyone else says. A hero can change someone’s life. A hero can be anyone that you admire and want to be just like when you grow up. They could be good at something you are interested in or could have saved someone’s life, maybe your own.

Anyone can have a hero, and mine is Shay Kuebler. I love to dance. Shay is my hip-hop dance teacher and ever since I first heard of him last year, I have been so exited to be one of his students. Shay began dancing at a very young age and worked his way to the top from there. He does hip hop, tap, and jazz and I do all of those classes. Shay Kuebler lives in Vancouver and studied dance across North America. He trained with Henry Letang who is a famous tap artist. Shay performs in a professional dance company and shows up on network TV, sometimes he’s even in commercials.

A hero is someone you believe in and respect. I believe that Shay will continue being the best that he can be and inspire other young dancers like myself. I want to be just like him when I grow up, and that is why Shay Kuebler is my hero.
