My model is John Lennon. John Lennon has done so much for the wonderful world of music. John has opened a new path for music, also he stood up for what he believed in. these are all reasons why John is a hero, but the main view why he is a model is he is an astounding leader. John Lennon died on Dec. 8, 1980. When he died he died knowing he fulfilled his aspiration. John divulged a new path for music. If it weren’t for him, there wouldn’t be enjoyable music today.

The initial reason John is a model is he is an extraordinary leader to all musicians and just plain citizens of the world. John has directed many protests and has been willing to be arrested for what he believed in. for example, in 1977 he donated $2,800 to “The Fight for Women’s Rights” protest in Long Beach, California. Also he organized and led over thirty protests. John Lennon is the epitome of a superb leader.

The subsequent reason John is a hero is he stood up for his beliefs. There are a plethora of rationalisms to be a hero, but if you aren’t competent to stand up for your convictions then you are not a hero at all. John Lennon composed songs and arranged protests for the things he believed in. in 1973 John Lennon had an eight day bed-in for world peace; also he cut his stylish hair to get attention to say all we need is love. He had “his” beliefs and not “other peoples” ideologies. He did not change his opinion just because other people thought it was wrong. John had a very strong opinion that was thought to be wrong in his lifetime, but he did not care. He believed in his convictions and nothing else.

The concluding sentiment John Lennon is a hero is he opened a new path for music. If it weren’t for John we wouldn’t have bands like Journey, The Who, Tears for Fears, or even The Beach Boys. John Lennon made it possible for there to be a way to let out your sentiments in song, and he made it ok to be open about your opinions in song. He inspired all musicians to preserver above what people contemplate, and convict in what you consider is right

John Lennon is only human and does make mistakes, but for all of the blunders he made, he has always done something to make up for it. John Lennon is an astounding leader who can stand up for his ethics, and made a new path for music. He will be remembered in my heart as well as thousands of hearts eternally.
