Liliana Segre

Liliana Segre is a survivor of the Holocaust. She is Jewish and was deported to Auschwitz when she was 13 (1943). She was born on 10 September 1930. Her mom died when she was 1 year old, so she lived with his father and her grandparents. She was in the third grade when she went to Auschwitz. 

After the holocaust, Liliana Segre moved to Marche. She has done a lot speeches where she talked about her life during the holocaust. Thank to this many people understood the horrors of the holocaust. 

On 19 January 2018 she was elected senator for life. She was 88 years old.
