We can still remember the exciting night of the 28th Olympics 2004 when the Chinese people shocked the world. Xiang Liu won first place in the 110 meter hurdles race. It was the first time a Chinese, even an Asian, ever got a gold medal in that event. His time was the same as the world record. At that moment, all the Chinese were proud. He reminded the world that China is growing. He made world know the progress of China.
