St. Gianna Beretta Molla was a wife, a doctor, a mother of six, and a Catholic. When she was pregnant with her sixth child the doctors found a large fibroma, which is a tumor, on her uterus. The doctors recommended having a hysterectomy which would kill her baby. Gianna knowing that her baby is a person and has worth decided to have the tumor removed, knowing it was a risky operation, to save her baby’s life. After the surgery her baby was delivered, But St. Gianna didn’t make it and died shortly after from septic peritonitis.
