My hero is earvin Johnson a.k.a magic he was born on August 14,1959.in Lansing Michigan, he acquired the nick name magic after high school game in he scored 36points,grabbed 18 rebounds,and 16assists.
Playing mostly pionts guard at Michigan State University, the 6'9'' Johnson helped lead the Spartans to the National Collegiate Atheletic Association [NCAA] final 1979.
The Spartan defeated Indiana State and their star player, Larry Bird-later the star player of the Boston Celtics and considered Johnson cheif on-courtrival during the 1980's for the NCAA title.
Johnson left college after his soahomore year [1979] to join the Los AngeslesLakers. He helped lead the lakers to five N.B.A.Championship [1980,1982,1985,1987,1988]. In 1980,he became the first rookieto be named most valuble player [MVP]of the N.B.A finals; he named N.B.A. finals MVP. again in 1982 and 1987 and was the N.B.A. record for assists[1992] He was the tallest guard in N.B.A. history
In the fall of 1991 Magic Announed that he had tested postive for the virus that cause aquired imm une deficeny syndrome [AIDS].LIFE AFTER DEATH.
