Marie Skłodowska Curie

The person who was interesting to me is Marie Skłodowska Curie. She, along with her husband and colleague Pierre Curie, laid the foundations for a new branch of physics and chemistry. Namely, they discovered an element of polonium, which was named after Poland and radium. She was twice awarded the Nobel Prize. It’s from school years Marie Curie has herself the goal of becoming a research fellow. And she accomplished this goal. In her life, this woman has made an extremely large contribution to the field of nuclear physics, namely in medicine.

With her research, a new method of treating cancer has been developed- irradiation. Marie was modest, educated and noble, she was loved and respected. This person is an example of purposefulness and diligence.
