In June 2011, he made his return to the French league, signing at the French champion, the Lille osc. His transfer is 1.5 million euros thanks to a clause in his contract. He scored his first goal with Losc in his first match at the Champions Trophy in Tangiers, Morocco, against Olympique Marseille. In the 2012-2013 season, Marko Baša scored 5 goals, including 3 goals in 3 games.

He is my hero because he is someone who looks like me in personality, he has made efforts for the losc. He gives a lot of jerseys to hospitalized people. This is an example for me because I play soccer too and I would like to become like him. I started to talk to him, then he became my friend, we talk a lot, he give me jerseys, he also gave me a lot of advice to become a professional footballer. But he retired this year, it's a bit sad for me because I do not see him anymore even if I talk to him by phone.
