MY COUSIN

My hero is my cousin Marlene. She is 16 years old. She is a person I really admire because she has helped me in many ways.

My hero has done many things in my life and in the lives of others. She is a great person to talk to, especially when I am feeling depressed, angry and sad. My cousin gives me great advice. I think that Marlene is a person I would not live without, because I wouldn't know who to talk to when I am going through hard days and tough problems. I think my cousin is a great human being.

Marlene now lives in California. She moved there a couple of weeks ago. She doesn’t like her neighborhood very much. She thinks it is a very hot place and boring, too.

Marlene does a lot of stuff with her family and friends. She is very outgoing and likes to take pictures every once in a while. My cousin is not yet sure what she wants to be when she grows up. Another thing my cousin always says is, ”do your best and try your hardest on everything.” Those are some other reasons why I really admire her.

I love my cousin because she has been there for me. She is a very special person in my life and has helped shape me into a better person. She has truly changed my life. She helps me with my homework whenever I need help. She is there when I feel sad and when I am angry at my mom. I confide in her and she makes me understand why my mom did what she did and what I should do to make things better. Marlene is always there to listen. That's what I love the most about her.
