Martin Luther King Jr

‘We are not makers of history, we are made by history," said Martin Luther King Jr. Growing up, Martin Luther King Jr. had a rough time, but he made a  lot of accomplishments as a adult. Martin Luther King is a hero because he changed the law and made everyone free.

Martin Luther King  had a difficult time growing up. He was born on January 15th, 1929. It was difficult because darker skin people had to give up their bus seats for white people. Even Rosa Parks (Martin's friend) refused to get up for a white. Even white and colored people had to drink from different water fountains and the different color skin people could not hang out. His dad was a preacher and inspired Martin to be one.

Planning speech Before Martin made his speech, people made a boycott and stopped going on buses. He led non violent protests. He made deals with John F Kennedy (the current president at the time), and then the day came when Martin made a speech that changed lives. He was shot on April 4th.
