Dr. Phil McGraw

“If you want more, you have to require more for yourself.” That was quoted by my hero, Dr. Phil McGraw. He has had his own show since September 2002, and the ratings continue to rise! People magazine called Dr. Phil “one of the most intriguing people of 2002.”

Dr. Phil was born on September 1st, 1950 and grew up in Texas. He currently lives in Los Angeles, California. Dr.Phil is now married with two sons. Dr.Phil has achieved many things in his life. He has solved people’s problems, and helps people believe that they can achieve by working hard. “The most you get is what you ask for.”

Dr. Phil gives great advice on all sorts of things. Some popular words I hear Dr. Phil say on his show almost everyday are “Lets face reality,” and those three simple words can change a person's life instantly.

Dr. Phil is a very important person. Not everyone can make a difference in people's everyday lives. It takes a special person. He also thinks that nothing is impossible. There is always a solution in spite of the difficult challenges you might have to overcome. Dr. Phil saves lives everyday, and supports people. He makes for a great role model.

I think there are many different kinds of heroes. There are super heroes, everyday heroes and even animal heroes. But Dr. Phil is one of a kind. Dr. Phil is my hero because he makes the world a better, more peaceful place. Without him, I think that many more people would be unhappy with their lives.
