Young Magnet High School in 1981. She went to Princeton University from 1981-1985, and  Harvard Law School in 1988. 

As first lady, Obama served as a role model for women and worked as an advocate for poverty awareness, education, nutrition, physical activity, and healthy eating. She supported American designers and was considered a fashion icon. Obama was the first African-American woman to serve as first lady.

I chose this hero because she has done many things for her family and people. She has encouraged better education for girls, equal rights, healthy living and more help for families living in poverty. Michelle Obama has done everything with “grace, grit, style and good humor.”
