A hero is a person who is admired for great or brave acts or qualities. My hero is my dad, Miguel Angel Santiago JR. He is my hero because he loves me and takes care of me. Miguel has a job. He makes money for me and my great family. I love him so much! He buys food for us to survive and for us to be healthy. Miguel has a great heart. Miguel Angel Santiago JR is and still we be brave, thoughtful and honest.
These things are things my dad likes and things that remind me of him.Miriam Miguel Angel Santiago JR was born in Brooklyn New York. He was born in a hospital. Miguel got home when he was 3 days old. He lived in Williamsburg houses on the fourth floor with his mother and father, Sylkia and Miguel. When Miguel was 5, he went to school. He went to PS196. He really liked the hours of school because it was only 6 hours. Miguel hated the homework. It was a lot of work! Miguel's favorite game as a child was PAC-MAN. He would play it every day. Miguel's nickname in school was Miggy. He said it was weird but at least he had a nickname. When Miguel went to middle school, he went to IS49. He had a friend group-just like me! When Miguel went to high school, he was like me!-Knows a lot of people. He went to Coney Island and Disney World with his family in the late 80's and early 90's. Miguel didn't have a best friend in high school, he had friends but not best friends. Miguel loved social studies because it was really easy! He also had a lot of pets as a kid and teenager. He had hamsters, frogs, parakeets, dogs a cat, a gerbil and many more! Miguel liked different sports, like baseball and boxing. He would practice every day! While he was growing up, he wanted to become a police officer. He wanted to save people and use a police car, so he doesn't have to stop at red lights. Miguel's most embarrassing moment is when he rode his bike fast and flew over the fence and hit his face on a tree. He got a bump and bruise on his lip for over a month! - didn't end well...... As you can see, Miguel has a great childhood!
Miguel's career didn't come out as he expected. His first job was a housekeeper. He really liked it, but it wasn't what Miguel wanted. Ever since Miguel was a child, he wanted to be a police officer. Miguel didn't go to college, so he didn't get a degree or get to go to a police school. But when he thought about his job, he really didn't want to become a police officer. He didn't have a job until he was 26. Miguel met my mom, Dalia, when he was 27 years old. When he first saw her, he was in love! My mom was only 19 years old, and they started dating in 2005. They both got engaged on April 7th, 2006. Then 10 days after that, my brother was born! They named him Miguel, just like my dad and grandfather. 2 years after, in 2008, I was born! They named me Miriam, after my great grandmother!
My dad has so many family members! Family who are alive and well...... not alive. Miguel has a little brother, Elliott, a mother, Sylkia, a father, Miguel, grandma, Miriam, a wife, Dalia, and 2 kids, Miriam and Miguel! He also has a nephew, Elliott. He has a 4 year old cat, Bebe and a fish, Luna.
Miguel's life is amazing! His relationship with his parents are fantastic! He talks with his mother often, and father, too! Miguel doesn't think his life could be different. There is nothing to change! His biggest fans are his kids, who he loves very much! Since he in fact indeed is a parent, his goals for his children are to work hard, never give up, and get a great education! Our Lord and Savior and hard work inspires Miguel. Miguel's greatest hope is for us to live in peace. His greatest fear is to fail and give up. Miguel has a happy life! His biggest accomplishment is that he never gave up and because of that, he is a happy father and husband! The main lesson Miguel has learned is to be respectful, never give up and do the best of your ability. So as you can see, Miguel is the strongest, most honest, reliable person I know! My family and I love him very much!
I am just like my father! I am honest, strong, and very reliable! We are just alike, he has had his own friend group in school, was smart, and did all our homework! A way I can be like my father is to be friends with good people, be respectful, and never give up! Miguel has been the greatest father to me. I don't know how I would be here without him!
In conclusion, I have learned so much from Miguel! I've learned to be respectful, kind and how to become confident! I could have never done anything without Miguel!
