Trembling sirens

The sirens rattle, beautiful but merciless

A constant noise, loud but distant

A strange figure, dark but bright

As the night falls and the birds sprawl

The distant cheers start to cease

The once bustling street turned voice-less

And the strange figure walked solus

Alone in his mind but accompanied by anger

He scoured for his victim.
