Rodney Mullen

Rodney Mullen is the greatest street skateboarder alive. He invented almost everytrick there is. He invented the kickflip, heelflip, pop shove it. Those tricks turned into advanced tricks like the varial-kickflip (a combo kickflip and a shove-it). It is hard to invent tricks now but Mullen is so good He will keep inventing tricks.

Rodney wasn't good at team sports so he became a skateboarder. The spots he had to skate at, at his home were not skateable so he became good at flatland tricks. Luckily he knew about skateboarding. Now Mullen owns his own skateboard company called enjoi. He is sponsered by globe shoes, enjoi skateboards, tensor trucks, enjoi wheels, and speed Demon Bearings. He can handle his skateboard so well, he can flip his board 3/4 of the way around, land on it, then shove-it out.

Most people see Tony Hawk as the best skateboarder, but Tony Hawk is a vert skater. Dont get me wrong, Tony is the Godfather of Vert skating and Rodney Mullen is the Godfather of street skating. Both have invented over 45 tricks. Both will continue to invent many tricks. Rodney Mullen show that you can go from a unknown kid to one of the best known skateboarders there is.
