My Grandpa

by Brianna Rasmussen from Pullman Washington

March 13, 2020 we weren't allowed to go to school till August for 8th grade. Looks like its going to be online school. But luckily while we are in quarantine my grandpa lives down the road from us, so we get to build our tree house we have always wanted to build, and we have built a tire swing and so much more. Quarantine sucks but when you have family down the road from you, it's not so bad.

139674My Grandpa family 7th grade was one of my favorite years so far. I had some amazing, fun teachers. There were so many fun activities to come in the school year. But now we get to spend the last two months of school in quarantine. I never thought I would say "I miss school," and I actually do. You don't realize how much school helps you, but now being in quarantine, it shows how much you like school. I miss everything about school... friends, teachers, and my Spartan family.

My grandpa is my hero by always having fun activities to do and always finding something to do or helping us build something. He has always been there for me and my brother and my mom through to toughest and darkest times in our lives. He will always take us to do something and rarely says no. We help our family farm during the summer for harvest. And just like that we are now in quarantine.
