The Blue Ship is a beautiful and heroic work by artist Ron Kovic that celebrates the courage and determination to be the person one truly is. Ron Kovic painted this image during the Winship cottage period, after his term of duty in the Vietnam War and when he was faced with the job of re-integrating himself into the life of a citizen of the United States.
