MY HERO to Support Creative Visions' #CreateConnectCare Campaign Empowering Youth Through Creative Expression
MY HERO is proud to support Creative Visions in the #CreateConnectCare campaign—an inspiring mental health and well-being initiative designed to empower young people ages 11–18. This dynamic program encourages youth to share their personal stories, foster empathy, and inspire positive change through the power of creativity.
Participants are invited to choose a focus area that matters to them and express their ideas through a variety of creative mediums, including literary arts, media arts, performance arts, visual arts, and STEM innovation.
Selected works will be featured in the #CreateConnectCare Gallery and considered for the prestigious 2025 Awards. Plus, the first 500 students to submit their projects will receive a free Moleskine creativity journal (U.S. only). Every participant will also receive a digital Certificate of Participation to recognize their contribution and creativity.
Submissions are open now! Make your voice heard and submit your work by March 31, 2025 at www.createconnectcare.org.

Additional Information
Creative Visions
Creative Visions was founded to leverage the power of the arts, advocacy, and creative action to effect social change while supporting, nurturing, and amplifying the voices of artists, filmmakers, musicians, and young creative changemakers.
#CreateConnectCare
Launched by Creative Visions in 2023, #CreateConnectCare is a year-long youth mental health and well-being initiative that empowers youth ages 11-18 to share their stories, build empathy, and spark change through creative expression. By sharing their mental health experiences and perspectives, young people can raise awareness, foster empathy, and inspire action.
Creative Visions is collaborating with a network of organizations on the #CreateConnectCare campaign. These partners share the commitment to creating a world
where young people feel empowered to talk about mental health, find support, and thrive. Each partner plays a crucial role in the campaign, and by working together, we can amplify our message and reach a wider audience.
Why #CreateConnectCare?
Today's youth face numerous struggles that contribute to a rise in mental health issues. Through the power of creative expression, young people can share their lived experiences and perspectives to make a positive change in mental health support and awareness.
Three powerful principles of #CreateConnectCare:
CREATE: Creative expression allows young people to explore and articulate their emotions, thoughts, and experiences. Through art, writing, music, and other forms of creativity, they can process their feelings, build self-awareness, and develop resilience. It's a therapeutic outlet that can lead to healing and personal growth.
CONNECT: Building connections is fundamental to mental health. This campaign encourages young people to share their stories and art, fostering a sense of community and understanding. By connecting with others who may have similar experiences, they can feel less isolated and more supported. This also helps to break down the stigma around mental health issues.
CARE: The campaign's heart is a message of care and compassion. It emphasizes the importance of caring for oneself and others. Participating in this campaign encourages youth to show empathy, practice self-care, offer support, and be proactive in mental health advocacy. It also highlights the role of communities and systems in providing the necessary support and resources for mental well-being.
MY HERO
The MY HERO Project uses media, art and technology to celebrate the best of humanity, one story at a time. We shine a light on positive role models to help students of all ages realize their own potential to make positive change in the world.
