Why are they a hero: Nabila Rehman is a bright young girl that volunteered to go to America and to have a meeting with the American Congress members and she showed confidence when only 5 out of 430 American Congress members showed up at the meeting but she made a point and never got put down by the amount of people and when it was her turn to talk she was brave and did what she was there to do which was prove to the Congress members that there are innocent people at war.
What has she done to inspire others: She has inspired others to stick up for themselves and to be brave also that no matter how big or small, you can make a point. And when she was ready to talk, yes, she was nervous but she went up there and she was brave and and showed confidence and that was is inspiring about Nabila.
How has she improved others lives: Nabila has improved others lives by being courageous and showing confidence when they where expecting 430 Congress members but only 5 showed. But she stood up and she proved that there are innocent people at war.
More information:
"Nabila volunteered to go to America with her dad and her school teacher as a translator and when it was Nabila's teacher's turn to talk she said my job is to teach but how do I teach something like this?
The 10 year old girl survived a drone attach in 2012 and has testified before the US Congress to describe the horror of these attacks. Nabila's story turns the spotlight on the actual human costs of the war on terror. There will be no Nobel Peace Prizes for Nabila, no fawning acknowledgements of her heroism, no tears of sympathy for the plight of Pakistani girls like her who leave alone the right to education, are not even afforded the right to life."
