National Library Week is a time to celebrate our nation's libraries and library workers' contributions and promote library use and support.
The theme for National Library Week 2026 is 'Find Your Joy'. Held from April 19–25, everyone is invited to explore, discover, and celebrate what brings them happiness at the library.

'The Wings' by Elise Chen
This charitable book, which is based on the author's biggest life regret, was written and illustrated by 17-year-old Elise Chen. Find out more and buy the book on the website she hand-crafted at wings.gift. All proceeds from this book provide free tutoring for Korean orphans as 95% of these orphans end up hungry and homeless when they age out of foster care at age 18 as they can't afford hagwon tutoring required to obtain a job.
