New York Fire Department

We chose the NYC Fire Department for three reasons. The first reason is because many of the firefighters gave their lives to save people. The second reason is because they do not get the respect that they deserve. The last reason we chose the NYC Fire department is because they mean a lot to our society.

Many of the firefighters in general gave their lives trying to save other people's lives. Also when people are involved in fires, whether intentional or non-intentional, they would be dead if it wasn't for the fireman. Firefighters dedicate their lives to fighting fires and often sacrifice their lives to save another. That explains the first reason we chose the NYC Fire department.

The second reason on why we chose the New York City Fire Department is because they do not get the respect they deserve. The NYC Fire Department are a vivid part of this country, just like every other fire department or police department in America. Fire Deparments all across the world always try to save peoples lives. Some even give their lives every day to save other peoples lives. Every year the fire departments all across the world start a fundraiser to help people get better from many diseases.

They mean a lot to our society. A lot of fire fighters lost their lives on September 11th, 2001 trying to save other people's lives. September 11th is a day we will never forget. Many people lost their lives such as citizens, policemen, fire fighters, paramedics and many other people. You should know now why the NYC Fire Department and fire departments in general mean alot to our society.
