A hero is someone who won’t give up no matter what the odds of winning are. My hero fits that definition. My hero is Shaq, the basketball player. He is 7 feet tall. He used to play for the L.A. Lakers but then he was moved to the Miami Heat. He is constantly getting triple-teamed on the court and still manages to score a good amount of points. These are all reasons why I chose him to be my hero but there is another. He can dominate almost anyone on the basketball court.

My hero was born March 6, 1972 near the area of Newark. Shaq is known for being one of the tallest basketball players in the world. At age 13 he was 6 foot 3. He owns a clothing line called "Twism". Shaq is also a rapper. His rapper name is Shaq Fu. He's made five albums.

Shaq has done a lot. He has helped the Lakers win a lot of games. He has made life a lot better for me because he has entertained me a lot in his games. He also stars in a movie that is a comedy known as Scary Movie Four.

Shaquille Rashaun O'Neal has had a very interesting life so far. Shaq was known as a military brat in his younger years. His childhood was spent with his parents Lucille and Philip O’Neal, his two sisters, Lateefah, and Ayesha, and his brother Jamal. Shaq went to college at LSU. Eventually, he became the person who took Michael Jordan’s place as the league's most dominant player after Jordan's retirement.

My hero Shaq is awesome. He has inspired so many people to play basketball. He has made so many awesome shots like dunks and three pointers, it's crazy. He must have had really good coaches over the years because he is like way too good at b-ball. I chose Shaq as my hero because he inspired me to start playing b-ball when I was younger. He can easily school me and anyone else at the same time. He also has an awesome car, you know what I’m saying. He is the best hero a guy could have.
