Al-Iman School

Raleigh, North Carolina

For the past few months, our 3rd Grade class has been learning what makes a person a hero. Through discussion and research they identified the characteristics of various heroes and then they chose their own personal hero to write about. Seeing what other students in other places believe a hero to be, has really helped our class realize that the basic belief in kindness, helping others, and never giving up, crosses nationalities, race, religion, and culture.
