My Hero Learning Circle - Middle School MHM2 - January 2012

Youth around the world share their hero stories, art and short films.

My Hero Learning Circles is an online global exchange that has My Hero partnered with iEARN.org. Teachers and students from around the world learn about each others cultures, communities, countries and of course, their heroes. The world is brought into each of their classrooms and their classrooms into the world. This diverse Middle School circle is composed of classes participating from Canada (2), USA, Belarus, Mexico, Russia (2) and Slovenia. The My Hero Project thanks you for all your hard work and for your amazing results, that everyone can see on this page. I encourage everyone who sees this to take some time and click through ALL of the classes in this new archive of heroism as seen through the eyes of our children. Happy New Year. Wendy Jewell - Facilitator

The Dreamteam in Bradford Ontario learned about many heroes who influenced the science field. We learned about so many interesting scientists, doctors, astronauts and others who made a difference in their communities, country and the world. We hope that you will learn about the contributions that these Canadians made.
Craft's Family Heroes - We are an English teaching school which main goal is to use the language in meaningful, fun and challenging workshops. Perhaps, this explains our participation in this wonderful collaborative project. Students chose their personal heroes after analysing different criterias to make their final choice. We took part in this year's Learning Circle -MHM2- and wish to share our heroes' stories with all readers.
We are a small group of primary school students participating in this project for the first time. We chose people who inspire us and who have made a difference in someone's life. Enjoy our stories!
Check out the heroes of the students of Braslav State Gymnasium!
