Skip Blumberg is a true pioneer. He has been the master of video portraits for over three decades. His love of movement, light, art, nature and sound make his work stand the test of time. His expert camera and editing techniques capture slices of life; his talent for communication, humor and compassion make him a true master digital storyteller. I am so pleased that Skip Blumberg has shared his vision, work and lesson plans with MY HERO.

Eva Haller: A Work in Progress - (23 minutes)

Eva is an activist, philanthropist, and Holocaust survivor. She was the recipient of the first Forbes Excellence in Mentoring Award. Skip Blumberg was one of the filmmakers involved in this documentary. He filmed several interviews and events in NYC with Eva Haller for this project.

SKIP BLUMBERG'S WEB PAGE HAS A DIRECTORY OF HIS WORK OVER MANY YEARS.His work has been featured at the Museum of Modern Art in New York and at festivals around the world.

His early work reflects the era's emphasis on guerrilla tactics and medium-specific graphics, but his more recent work takes on more global issues. His work has screened widely on television and at museums. His video Pick Up Your Feet: The Double Dutch Show (1981) is considered a classic documentary video and was included in the Museum of Television and Radio's exhibition TV Critics' All-time Favorite Shows.[1] His cultural documentaries and performance videos have been broadcast on PBS, National Geographic TV, Showtime, Bravo, Nickelodeon, among others. wikipedia.org/wiki/Skip_Blumberg
