"If you do good things, good things happen to you."personal picture    My hero is someone that never gives up. She inspires me every day. She’s been through hard times, but she always keeps a smile on her face. My hero had a big miracle that changed her life and I’m one of them. My hero is my mom; her name is Orlanda Garcia. She inspires me because she helps me in life and she’s always by my side. She never shows when she's sad, and she always stays positive.

    Some obstacles my hero has been through was she worked in the countryside in Mexico.  Also, it was hard for her to leave her family in Mexico, but she left her family because she wanted a better life for her kids. At first she couldn't have any kids, I lost three siblings. She started to pray and believe in God and did her confirmation at the age of 20. Praying, doing her confirmation, a miracle happened, my sister was born first, my brother was born second, and I was born last.

    My mom is my hero because of her actions and her characteristics. She is strong, funny, fun, honest, helpful, kind, nice, respectful, cheerful, and there's a lot of more words to describe her. Her actions are, that she helps families by giving clean clothes. If she sees someone having a bad day she will try to bright up the mood. What motivated my mom, to have those characteristics was, my grandpa used to say to her “If you do good things good things will happen to you”.
