In Bolivia, rural communities are characterized by loneliness and sadness, isolated grounds that touristically are not attractive by many people. Pamela has lived in rural places located in La Paz department since she was 3 years old and the testimony is not related to the last fact. Perception is as individual as the idea could be expressed by every person. In fact, she considered necessary cultural exchange to open minds to different thoughts and beliefs.
In fact, she developed a passion for reading in her childhood, starting from little books about fantasy to teacher books about every kind of subject. At the age of 10 she has read more than 70 books (including 3 encyclopedias) just for fun and to know more about the different contexts she lived with her parents and sisters. So, her first source of information was books. Consequently, her passion for languages was born in that moment, she could not find literacy about indigenous languages.
With that experience, she looked for more books that included the history of a culture in their own language. The closest thing was the sale of old books in 16 de Julio Big Fair. Therefore, she experienced a "little big problem" to solve locally, if that success starts thinking globally. She knew the importance of learning and revitalizing indigenous languages, so, she decided to study Linguistic and Languages: Aymara Native Language. The learning process was a motivator to start college as an Assistant Professor 2 years helping 65 students to achieve their goals in subjects.
She expresses much gratitude to communities: Santiago de Huata, Comanche and Pacallo for the collaboration in the learning process. And also to Ingles. Yes Program for the opportunity to know English and share that with communities. Finally, she mentioned: "Every single language is a world with culture, identity and knowledge, as change makers I think we could create an environment into intercultural and respect.
