Muntadar al-Zaidi is Iraq journalist, who at the press conference by U.S. President George Bush threw a pair of shoes. Then the Iraqi security guards during questioning severely beat him in prison. In Arab world he become a real hero because of throwing shoes to the U.S. president.

He has already receive various offers. Saudi Arabian prince offered him $10 million for the pair, which he threw to the U.S. president. Shoe factory in Algeria also started to produce a model of shoes with the name "Muntadar". They also employed additional 100 workers.

Reporters in the newspaper Al Bagdadia confirmed that it was Zaidi's longer plan and that he was waiting for the appropriate opportunity. He had worked for about three years at the television station. Before that he graduated at the University for communication in Bagdad. Dargham al-Zaidi, his brother told, that he deliberately bought "dark brown with shoelaces." shoes before this incident.

Iraqi guards caused him some very serious injuries. In the Arab world they accept his act at the press conference with understanding. In the street of Bagdad also protested, because of his arrest. More than two hundred lawyers were ready to defend him at the court.

He is my hero, because he showed to everyone, what he think about current politic situation. I don't support any kind of violence. I just think that he made so big scandal to be seen all around the world. Maybe we wouldn't seen him through the media reports, if he would done that in better way (more polite). However I wrote "My hero story"about him, because he was brave enough to do something like this in the name of entire nation. I wrote this without political motive and without my personal opinion about U.S. army in Iraq.
