Zinedine Zidane

Zinedine Yazid Zidane was born 23 June 1972 in Marseille, France. He played midfield in soccer. He is now retired. He played for France, Italy and Spain. But this is not why he's my "hero".

He is most famous for is mass pwnage of Italian soccer player Marco Materazzi. After an exchange of words, Zidane jumped out in front of Materazzi and headbutted him in the chest, causing him to fall and curl up in the fetal position.

I support Zidane in this situation because Materazzi was talking crap about Zidane's family, particularly his mother and sister. If he would've gone crying to the ref, he wouldn't accomplish anything other than looking like a pansy. Talking back would only please Materazzi, as he would know that he had accomplished his goal of getting Zidane angry. Taking things into his own hands was the only way he could really get back Materazzi.

When I see knuckleheads doing stupid things, like texting while driving, I would like to go all Zidane on them, but I think the Criminal Code of Canada would have something to say about that.

I don't got nothin for the last paragraph, so, uhh..., yeah.
