Shannon, Harleigh, Caroline, Allie, Rachel, and E (School....we took it(:) |
When many people think of their heroes, they think along the lines of Superman, Batman, Spiderman, etc. Others may think about famous people, such as Oprah. Some people may even consider the president of the United States their hero. If these people aren’t our heroes, then who is? Are they rich? Are they famous? Are they brave and heroic? No, our heroes are not famous, nor are they rich or heroic. Our heroes just so happen to be our wonderful friends.

Caroline |
First, we will introduce our friend, Caroline. Caroline is 12 years old. She loves to play soccer in such a way, it is exasperating. She is a very strong person, and doesn’t get upset very easily. We think Caroline is a hero because of her easy-going attitude toward life. Caroline is always a joy to be around and she is always looking to the future.

Rachel |
We’ll tell you about Rachel, the magnificent, next. Rachel is a sweet, gentle, fun-loving girl who is always in an exceptional mood. She is 13 years old, and she loves to dance. Rachel is on the Stars Dance Team at Maplewood Middle School, which, of course, is where we all go to school. She is also in band at Maplewood Middle School. She plays the clarinet. She is very talented at everything she does, and she is one of the most polite people we have ever met. Rachel is our hero because she can have hilarious, random outbursts and still be extremely calm.
Now it’s time for Kayla. Kayla is 13 years old. Like Caroline, Kayla loves to play soccer, and many other sports. Other sports Kayla plays are basketball, volleyball, softball, and she runs track. She is very strong, rarely complains, and is just an all-around awesome friend. We believe Kayla is a hero because she recently broke her tibia playing soccer, and has had an amazing attitude during her recover.

Emilee |
Erica is the next friend on our list. Erica is one of the most peculiar people we know. She is weird, interesting, and an amazing friend. Erica is willing to sacrifice her personal belongings for her friends. Also, she is faithful to her friends. Erica is one of our heroes because no matter what we do, and what we go through, she will always be there for us.
Allie is the next contestant on the talk show of our heroes. Allie is the most rude and obnoxious of all our friends. However, Allie can be very lovable and enthusiastic. She can be annoying sometimes, but she can’t help herself. However, we still love her because that’s just the way she is and we wouldn’t trade her for anything. She is our hero because she has many personalities, but she is always amusing; no matter what mood she’s in.
Our next hero-friend is Emilee. Emilee attends S.J. Welsh Middle School. She is an exceedingly gorgeous 13 year old. She is in the SPARK program, like Shannon and me, Harleigh. Emilee is amusing, athletic, and intelligent. She is our hero because she is never negative for any reason, and she is just an all-around amazing person.
I, Shannon, am going to write about Harleigh because she is another one of my heroes. Harleigh is a very unique and exciting person. She is always supportive and never lets me down. She is the best friend I could have asked for, and that is why she is my hero.
I, Harleigh, will write about one of my heroes: Shannon Dalton. Shannon is a very interesting person. She is extremely wonderful, and she loves to be surrounded by her amazing friends. Shannon is the kind of person you could go to if you were feeling blue. She is exceptionally brilliant and athletic. She plays many sports, and is amazing at them all.
Now that you understand our perception of heroes, I hope you can do a fantastic job of figuring out your own heroes. Remember; they don’t have to be famous, rich, or heroic. They can just simply be your best friends.
