Rise - Amanda Nguyen

Amanda Nguyen is an civil rights activist who fights for rights of sexual assault survivors around the world. After being assaulted herself at her dream school, Harvard, Amanda decided she would rather rewrite the laws herself than live with the injustices that survivors experience. She goes on to make history by drafting and unanimously passing both the Sexual Assault Survivors’ Bill of Rights through the United States Congress and the Survivors' Resolution through the United Nations General Assembly. She is the founder of Rise, a nonprofit organization which further works to help and uplift survivors. Amanda is also an activist against Asian hate, a Noble Peace Prize nominee, a Time Woman of the Year and an astronaut.
