I have chosen Robin Hood as my hero because he helped all the poor people when the rich people were making them pay taxes on just about everything.
For example, if they wove clothes or wore clothes, if they raised or bought food and many other things like this, they would have to pay taxes to the Prince. This caused the poor to stay poor. I also like that he was courageous and never gave up.
Robin Hood may be a real person or a myth - but I still chose him because of how he helped the poor people get some of their money back.
