Ronaldinho is one of the world's best soccer players. He has been named FIFA player of the year twice in 2004 and 2005. He plays for the Brazilian soccer team as well as the FC Barcelona club soccer team. Both are world title winning teams. How did they win you may ask? Because of the Brazilian one man show.. Who is he? What is his name? He is Ronalidnho Gaucho de Assis Moreira. He is my hero and my favorite soccer player. Although the Brazilian soccer team did lose the World Cup this time, I am still happy because at least he tried his hardest. He has invented many great moves such as: the flick-flack and the juggling trick called "Around the World." This is the Ronaldinho I know and admire.

My hero has proven that it is possible and is quite easy to become what you want to become. He proved that if you put your mind to anything you can do it. He has done this and become, in my opinion, the best soccer player. He has shown that it is not about how many goals you score, but how good you are. He has the best skills with the ball and is very smart on the field. He can trick almost anyone and can outrun quite a few players. This is my favorite soccer player: Ronaldinho Gaucho de Assis Moreira.

My hero lives in Barcelona and Brazil. After all he is probably very, very, very rich. He has a huge house. He owns a soccer field and can be seen practicing on it all the time. He is also a traffic cop in Brazil (I would love to get a speeding ticket from him!) and many people see him around. He is a very friendly person and has a great attitude. He rarely gets mad during soccer games and does not show off at all.

My hero was born on March 21, 1980. He is still alive and personally I think he will not die, because he is a legend. He will always be in the records and will always be remembered by millions of soccer fans. That is because he is Ronalidnho, the best soccer player. He was born on the coast of Brazil in Porto Alegre and lived there till he got a position in the Barcelona club soccer team. Then he moved to Barcelona and still lives there, but he does go back to Brazil sometimes.

I remember once in the Confederation Cup he saved the Brazilian soccer team from losing the finals. The player from the other team was going down the field with the ball and was dribbling right past everyone and then Ronaldinho came and stoped him very easily. If he hadn't come the player from the other team would have scored the tie-breaking goal. Thanks to him, Brazil won the Confedertaion Cup.

This person is important to me because he is a very inspirational soccer player and I am a huge soccer fan. He has given me a goal to reach in my life. My goal is to become as good as him. He is a good role-model and is always doing good things for his community. This is my hero and I hope he is yours too because he is a good man at heart and is always willing to help others.
