Ryan Reynolds

by Jacob Weiss from Fox Valley School

My hero in life who influences who I want to be like is Ryan Reynolds. This is because he is very funny and nice to be around. He has sort of an aura about him that makes him seem just very happy and like if you hang out with him you’ll feel better about yourself. I also want to have an aura like that where people just want to feel good just by hanging out with me. I don’t know how realistic this is, but goals don’t always have to be realistic.

He is also my hero because he is a very kind man who tries to make others happy rather than himself. Some celebrities will get egotistical about their fame. However, even with his success over the years he has remained very humble and isn’t afraid to insult himself to make others around him laugh. I also want to be like this.

He also doesn’t let all the stress and pressures he really has get to him. He is constantly working on many different projects, and yet despite all of this he is still lighthearted and happy and still making those around him laugh. Despite all the struggles he has he still overachieves.

Another quality in Ryan Reynolds I really admire is his dedication to his work. He always goes the extra mile to perform as well as advertise his movies. I want to be able to dedicate myself to projects like he does. For example, he often puts out funny, unique videos on YouTube to promote his new movies. This is unnecessary but still very funny.

This is why my hero in life is Ryan Reynolds. He is easygoing, beloved, dedicated, and constantly leaves a trail of smiles behind him wherever he goes. I think that if throughout my life, I am able to be even half of the things he is, I will be doing pretty good for myself.
