When I think of a hero, I think of Benji Schwimmer. He was the guy who won the T.V. show, "So You Think You Can Dance." Benji is a West Coast Swing specialist. He performed his first dance recital when he was only six months old. He also started competing when he was five.

By winning "So You Think You Can Dance," Benji won a dance contract with Celine Dion in Las Vegas for a year, one hundred thousand dollars, and a hybrid car. He ended up turning down the Celine Dion contract because it wasn't his style of dancing. Instead, Benji signed onto a T.V. show on the lives of dancers; he might act as Fred Astaire in an upcoming motion picture. He was even asked by Regis Philbin to be host on his program. Before Benji was even on the show he organized a non-profit organization called Dancers Everywhere Making a Needed Difference for orphans in Mexico.

Benji inspired me to become a better dancer and to accomplish my goals. He also made me want to help people even if it gives me nothing in return. I really like how Benji only does what he wants to do; for example, when he turned down Celine Dion's contract because it wasn't the style of dancing that he liked to do. I hope Benji keeps dancing because I want to be more like him.
