The Sirens
Out of the depths of his deep dark cave,
Came to solemn man to save their sorrows,
The driving power for the victory of equality,
He is honesty personified each and every day,
Always the fastest yet never crosses his line,
Gold portrayed in the form of a man,
He seems ordinary with his work hidden by others,
But one dark day will eventually arrive,
His sunlight won’t glisten on each of his pack,
His clouds which covered the storm beneath,
No longer fight off the rain and winds,
The once willing soldier now must move on,
The sirens of his followers blare internally,
What will they do without him?
