Seydou Badian KOUYATE

by Nene Guindo from Bamako in Mali

If there are some who only dream to be white, the future will show them that "the stay in the water does not transform a tree trunk in crocodile".

119487Seydou Badian KouyateGoogleMy hero is Seydou Badian Kouyaté, he is a writer politician, he was born April 10th in Bamako. He studied the medicine in the University of Montpellier in France, nearby to the first president of Mali, he writes words of the national anthem of Mali. He has been minister of economic and financial in September 17th 1962. I choose Seydou Badian because his is a man that I esteem a lot, he is an intellectual man, his writings proved it. His words on the national anthem of Mali were wonderful. Being a noble citizen of this country who is the big Mali, I’m proud when i hear the words of Mali’s anthem. Besides these writings on the national anthem, he writes a lot of novels of which the first title ‘’Under the storm’’, a writing based on the forced marriage that, at that time, was current. For me, the definition of a hero doesn’t limit itself aware of an act that everybody would judge heroic. No, Seydou Badian Kouyaté is a hero for me because it acts to me as an example. Since, i like to write, Seydou convinced me by his intellectualism. I like it a lot and I want to resemble him.
