Shawn Mendes

He plays the guitar very well, and is nice to everybody. His songs are always positive and happy. After a concert, if fans want to meet him, he always stays to take pictures with everyone who wants to. He launched the Shawn Mendes Foundation, which supports his causes to help bring positive change. Whenever I’m feeling down, I listen to his music and it makes me feel better because his lyrics are always so positive and happy. I also admire that he launched the Shawn Mendes Foundation, which helps a lot of people in need. He is so much more than just some singer.

     Shawn Mendes launched the Shawn Mendes Foundation, which cares about children’s healthcare, anti-bullying, human rights, mental health, education, these youth-related causes. He often visits kids in the Shawn Mendes Foundation who have mental conditions, and he does the best he can to help them. He sings with them and chats with them, letting them know they are as good as any person, and that they shouldn’t be ashamed because they have mental or physical disabilities. They are always happy when Shawn is around them. He also posted inspirational anti-bullying messages, one of them with the message “You deserve to follow your heart.” Shawn was bullied in the ninth grade because of his passion for music. One time at school, he walked into a group of older boys yelling out, ‘Sing for me Shawn, sing for me!’ That made him feel horrible and like a joke, so he decided that he would include anti-bullying in his foundation.

     His personal experience drove him to help other people, and to make sure that other people don't go through these terrible things. Even though he is still fighting to help in children's education, I am sure that he has already helped lots of people.
