Jessica Simpson

My hero is so much more than an entertainer. She is a role model for all girls. She has come so far in the music industry beginning in a church choir. My idol is Jessica Simpson.

As a teen she signed with her first music industry, Columbia Records producing her first CD, "Sweet Kisses." She has put out 2 CD’s since the summer of June 2001. Her CD, "Irresistible," reached number 3 on the Top 40 mainstream chart. In the year of 2003 she had tried acting and premiered in That 70’s Show 3 times in August. In October 2002 Nick and Jessica had finally gotten married and as a result of this they had many gossip columnists chasing after them. MTV offered them their own reality show based upon the crazy mishaps that they encounter in their first year of marriage. The show was aired and was so popular that MTV broadcasting had decided to air a second season.

Jessica Simpson was originally born and raised in Texas. Being a teen performer she always moved from place to place performing for others. Now being married she has settled down in a house with her husband. She is now located in California, but she is still always on the go for tours and premiers on TV talk shows.

Jessica was born July 10, 1980. This year she will be celebrating her 24th birthday. Last year for her 23rd birthday she had a blowout party. Many stars were there to wish her a good one. Hope to see many more come to you Jessica!

My role model is important to me because she has worked so hard to become what she is today. As a child star it wasn’t easy to always be on the go and never be home with your family. She has done so much and the most important reason for me why she is my idol is because she tells all young girls to be their true selves. As I have seen on her show "The Newlyweds Nick & Jessica," Jessica shows who she really is. Some people may see her as a dumb blonde, but I see her as truthful. Truly, can you think of how many stars show their true selves? That is the most important quality for a person and she is not afraid to show it. This is why I am proud to say Jessica Simpson is my idol and I have no fear of saying that I would like to become just like her.
