To me a hero is someone who does good without need to be rewarded. Someone who is able to support people, and encourage them to do the right thing, without harming them. Last but not least, someone who is willing to help people who need help.

My hero is Stephanie Villages; an everyday hero. She is a hero because she is always helpful. She had a good childhood and was always bright. She didn't have the best childhood but she had a good one. She was always the nice to her friends. She was almost always with her friends in middle school. She was always cheering them up. She encouraged and helped my dad graduate high school when he fell behind. When she was as in college I was born and she took care of me and went to collage at the same time.

She is my mother and was able to give me and my sisters a happy life. She did this by keeping our spirits up, she told me I am able to do a lot more things than I think I am capable of. She has always told me and my sister not to doubt ourselves. She has always done what she think is best for me and my sisters.

When I was seven my biological father started to drink and do drugs, so in order to keep me and my sisters away from that stuff, Stephanie tried talking to him to see if she can get him to stop. After that he didn't listen so my mom fought in court to have custody of us and my dad now only sees us when we have no upcoming events, and he decides to come. Now me and my sisters live a happy, healthy life.

Stephanie Villegas may not be a hero to you but she is a hero to me. I made a wise decision when I chose her as my hero and I hope you think wisely when you chose yours.
