Stephen Lamarche

 My father works as a shipper and receiver, which means when he receives shipments, he stores them in the warehouse he works from and loads them up with his forklift into trucks for deliveries. A fun fact about my dad is he is a hockey and football fan. Also, he is very honest.

My dad is my hero because he makes me happy and he supports my interests. The reason why he meets the criteria of a hero is he works long hours to support the family.

My dad is my hero because he makes me happy. One time my dad made me happy was when he showed me the movie Weekend at Bernie's. It made me happy because I like those types of movies. Another time was when he taught me how to play hockey when I was young. Because at that point in my life, I liked to play sports. Also, my dad around seven years ago bought tickets to take us on a cruise. That made me very happy because when I was seven I did not like school, and so I was very content that I missed an entire week.

My dad is my hero also because he supports my interests. One time he supported one of my interests was when I started collecting comic books and he would bring me to the comic book store near us. Also, when I wanted to be more active, he signed me up for tae kwon do at a building that is run by a friend of my dad. Along with the time I wanted to play on a basketball team, so my parents signed me up for a basketball program during the spring. My dad would pick me up and cheer me on while I played.

The reason that my dad is my hero is he makes me happy and he supports my interests.

Who is your role model and why?

Answer: He said my grandad because he was a hard worker and he was a family man.

What was your dream job growing up, and what made you choose that job specifically?

Answer: He told me his dream job was being a fireman or a policeman because he wanted to help people. 

What was your high school experience like?

Answer: He had fond memories and he had a lot of friends.

What gets you out of bed in the morning and why?

Answer: He responded that my mom, my sister, and I are the reason because he loves us.

Why are you proud of what you do at work?

Answer: He answered because it helps provide for the family.

How would you describe yourself?

Answer: He said he considers himself a family man. 

What are your plans for when you retire?

Answer: To travel with my mom.
