MomTacey MartensMy hero that I am writing about today is my mother. She has given me all that I could ever need to live with. She is a hard worker and does everything for her family and friends. She has a heart of gold as I told myself because she loves everybody even with differences. 

My mother is my hero. She is an RN (nurse) at a nursing home in Swift Current and full-time mother and wife. When she is at work, she is running all around making sure all of the residents are comfy and happy. She is also phoning all the families to update them when it is needed. Then she comes home and has to do more work on the ranch before her day is over. All the little things makes her my hero today. 

My mother lives on a ranch just NE of the Swift Current area. My mom loves being outside with all the animals and taking photos of what is around us. She always wanted to live in the country. She also move all around Saskatchewan and BC when she was younger. My mom is still with us and enjoying life as it is. She has hard time but she never lets that ruin her life. You can always see a smile on her face.

She puts other people's lives before hers, and she said that is kind and what she wants us to do when we are older. She does so much for me like take me to volleyball games, school activities, and helps with homework. She makes a difference in me by telling me what I am doing wrong and giving me a life that I never want to change. She has told me that hard work is going to pay off in the end and never give up your dream. She is the person I go to whenever I need to talk about something. 

My mom can never stop being my hero. I tell her every day how happy I am to have her in my life. She gives love to anyone who needs it. She also works so hard to get her job done. I am happy she is my mother and nothing will never change that. My mother is my hero.
