Thomas Alva Edison

Thomas Edison was born in Milan, Ohio, on February 11, 1847. Astonishingly, during his childhood, he received only three months of schooling. Thomas Edison is a hero because he was a inventor, he changed the world and he was driven.

Thomas Edison's inventions included a voice recorder, a stock-quote printer and a carbon telegraph transmitter. Edison built a laboratory where he tried to make the electric light bulb. With his talent, he made a light bulb that burned for 13 1/2 hours! This is why Thomas Edison is a inventor.

Thomas Edison was driven because he didn't give up. His experiments never worked the first time, so he kept trying.

Thomas Edison changed the world completely. Another invention that revolutionized the world was the phonograph. Another one was the first movie set.

In conclusion, Thomas Edison is a hero to the world by being driven, for changing the world, and for his inventions.
